Garage Sale Trail on Sunday 10 April 2011

"Keep Australia Beautiful is encouraging you to be part of the Garage Sale Trail and donate some proceeds to them. It’s a great idea and I encourage you to get involved."
Tony Burke MP, Australian Minister for Sustainability, Environment, Water, Population and Communities.
Imagine a day of shopping at garage sales, guided by a map and a sense of wellbeing that comes from knowing you're doing something good for the environment. The Garage Sale Trail is community-driven, it reduces waste to landfill and it takes a fun and innovative approach to sustainability. It was an entry into the KABNSW Sustainable Cities Awards 2010 and we thought it was a great concept to support.
Keep Australia Beautiful is now the official charity partner of the first national ‘Garage Sale Trail’ on Sunday 10 April 2011 with each participating garage sale being encouraged to donate 10% of proceeds.
Donate part of your sale to KAB. Click here to donate and to find out more about how your support will
